Sheer Markets (Cyprus) Limited is a licensed Cyprus Investment Firm, which offers a new range of products currently unavailable to the retail online trading community. Founded on the principles of integrity, collaboration and adaptability, Sheer Markets strives to provide clients with competitive, streaming access to a comprehensive instrument range, including NDF CFDs, EMFX, and Cryptocurrencies CFDs.

Sheer Markets is licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”) under license number 395/20.

  1. Select your trading account.
  2. Complete the necessary questions and upload your identification documents for account validation.
  3. Receive your login details by email.
  4. Make a deposit.
  5. Download the trading platform of your choice.

A color copy of a valid ID or other official identification document issued by authorities (e.g. passport, driver's license, residence permit, etc).

A recent utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas, water, phone, oil, Internet and/or cable TV connection, bank account statement) dated within the last 6 months and confirming your registered address.

Since Sheer Markets is regulated under CySEC it is required to collect adequate documentation imposed by CySECs regulatory procedures.

You can open an account in one of the following currencies: EUR and USD.

Our retail clients will never lose more than the funds in the client account with the company due to the Negative Balance Protection.

Sheer Markets holds client money in Segregated Accounts. When funding your trading account online, all payment information is confidential and used only for the purposes of funding your trading account with Sheer Markets.

Leverage is a technique that enables traders to 'borrow' capital to gain more significant exposure to a particular market with a comparatively small deposit. It offers the opportunity for traders to magnify potential profits, as well as losses. The maximum leverage offered to our retail clients is 1:30. Equity is the value of your funds with the Company (which at any point in time includes realized profits and losses) plus the unrealized profit and loss on your CFDs based on their latest quoted valuation.

Margin  is the amount the client will have to pay as collateral to open and maintain a position.

The Margin Level indicates how close your account is to a margin call.

Free Margin is the sum of funds you have available to use as an initial margin for new positions.

An account with a positive credit balance is considered to be dormant if it has exhibited no activity over a period of 6 months. Dormant accounts with positive credit balances will be charged a €10 maintenance fee per month.

US Tax Residents are not allowed to open trading accounts with us.

You are able to view all the available product categories from your MT5 client terminal. In the Market Watch window, right click on the symbol where you would like to view the available products and click on “Show All” under the drop down menu.

Sheer Markets advises clients to do their due diligence on the EA, it's strategy developer, and when trading with third-party EA strategy service providers. Clients should be aware that there can be substantial differences between the actual trading results and the hypothetical performance.

Sheer Markets does not charge any fees; however, the intermediary parties (payment processors) involved may do so.

Please allow 3-7 business days for funds to reflect in your account for international bank wire deposits. Sheer Markets does not charge for bank wire deposits, but the sending and correspondent bank may charge according to their fee structure.

You can place a withdrawal request from the section "Transfers" found in your client portal.

Yes, you can cancel the withdrawal if the transfer has not been processed yet.

In case your withdrawal amount exceeds your initial deposit or the sum of all deposits by credit card, you will be entitled to receive the difference by wire transfer.

Yes, you can place a withdrawal request whenever you want, please bear in mind that should you have any open trading positions, this might affect your withdrawal.

You are able to view the overnight Swap charge from your MT5 client terminal. In the Market Watch window, right click on the symbol where you would like to view the overnight Swap charges and click on “Specifications” under the drop down menu.
